Thin Blue Line

$25.00

We will be donating $2 from every Thin Blue Line sale to our “Be The Light” program.
“Oh don’t hide in the dark, you were born to shine. In a world full of hate, be a light” Thomas Rhett from his new hit song ‘Be A Light’
For every $15 raised we will be mailing out a “Be A Light” mini pendant and chain, a $28 value to someone that need’s their spirit lifted. Who are these people? They are your people. Your family and friends who are on the ‘front line’~ the list is long, from healthcare workers to gas station clerks. Who else? The people who are at high risk and alone and scared. Who else? The 30% of our population who suddenly lost their job’s or had to close their business with no warning or fault of their own. All these people you know. We just need you to pass their name, address, a email (to track shipping #’s) on to us so we can send them a little happiness. We have set up donations of $2, $5, $10, $15 which will go in a kitty and be used to send people on the list the mini pendants. Our second option is for you to buy a piece in the collection (This sight is for a pair of earrings)  and let us know who you would like it sent to or Buy it for yourself and a portion of your purchase will go into the ‘public fundraising kitty’
How we came up with this idea~
The Corona Virus became more ‘real’ for Megan and I by the second week in March, our Art Shows and Farmers Markets were being cancelled for the rest of spring. We were concerned for our parents health and convinced them to shelter in place before we heard the term. I packed up in Florida to head back to my boyfriend Joel’s house in Northern Wisconsin, as Megan and her family prepared to lock down on their Ranch in Colorado. As this was all happening, Megan and I would ask each other, “As an artist what can we do to help on a bigger scale?” Through the years, Miss Olivia’s Line has raised over $35,000 to help people in need. We’ve held our own online silent auctions and with your help was able to send checks directly to several women fighting breast cancer, first responders who lost their homes in Moore, Oklahoma during the EF5 Tornado that ravaged the community, and also directly helping families from our home town in Wisconsin who needed help.
As we were wrapping our heads around the craziness of the Corona Virus, I was having a hard time bringing my ideas together on how to help people, how can we brighten someone’s day, how can we be the light?
In the last 48 hours the cobwebs in my head have cleared and I’ve fallen into a good daily rhythm. Then my ideas began to explode! I woke up at 2am so excited to make this all happen that I couldn’t fall back asleep!
